was also a proposal to amend the Bylaws to change the date of the State Championship
to Labor Day Weekend. That proposal will be considered at the November business
meeting. The State Shoot for 2005 was offered
to Fredericksburg at $5.75 per hundred

Pickett made a motion to designate the Richmond IWLA Club as the Association choice
for host of the 2005 Zone II Championship. After a second and some discussion,
the motion carried. (Virginia was
the next state in rotation to host the Zone and it is the responsibility of the
state association to choose a host club.) After
a short discussion it was decided to release the perpetual trophies which still
had engraving room to the 2004 champions but retain those (20 gauge bowl and 5
Man Team trophies) which no longer had room for engraving. The possible solutions
of adding pedestals or replacing the filled bowls would be discussed and resolved
at the November business meeting. Whether or not to continue the traditional
of “traveling” trophies will also be a subject for discussion at the November
business meeting. The meeting was adjourned
at 7:10 p.m. Rebecca
